Optional project

http://homepage.mac.com/mjwilkinson/FileSharing1.html

This is a “How-to” sheet for creating audio slideshows in PowerPoint from Mr Mark Wilkinson. You will probably need at least two sessions for this project and the emphasis is on creativity, communication (writing the text and recording it with a focus on clear pronunciation), and technological discovery.

Quickly navigating the new PowerPoint 2007 by Marilyn Snyder

Extracted from SpeakerNetNews, 1/25/2008 http://www.speakernetnews.com/

If you like to use keyboard shortcuts, rather than the mouse, to get around in PowerPoint, you’ll still be able to use all your PP03 shortcuts in PP07.

...After you open PowerPoint 07, simply press the Alt key on your keyboard, and a huge number of boxed letters pop up by the menu items.

Simply press that key on your keyboard and the menu changes.

For example, I use Custom Animation continually but the Custom Animation taskpane doesn’t automatically display when the program is opened.

To get it to display, press Alt and you’ll see a boxed A display under the Animations menu item.

Press A and the Animations menu displays with a boxed C under the command Custom Animation.

Press C and the Custom Animation taskpane displays.

Or simply press Alt, A, C and you’re ready to animate.
